Bearings is community infrastructure, run as lean as possible. Here is exactly what it costs to keep the lights on, the wallet that pays for it, and the sources we build on — money and knowledge, disclosed the same way.

Bear History Project International ↗ · archiveA volunteer organisation capturing the history of the bear movement through oral-history interviews, a Hall of Fame and an In Memoriam, before the people who lived it are gone. Also runs a bibliography and the Bear Studies Symposium.
BearGuide ↗ · directoryA community-maintained worldwide directory of bear bars, clubs and events.
World Bear Magazine ↗ · magazineIndependent bear news, interviews and titleholder coverage from across the community.
bearsx.social ↗ · aggregator DEBear meetups and events across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in four languages, with a Submit Event route. Links out to Colonia Bears, Leine Bären, Leipzig Bären, Mannheim Bears, Nordbären Hamburg, Saar Bears and Stuttgarter Bären — a genuine aggregator, and the closest thing to a German national calendar besides BearEventsGermany. No RSS found.
Pinksider ↗ · guide DEGerman queer city guide (Köln, Berlin and others) with its own dated event listings. NOT an aggregator: it publishes its own pages and links out to nothing, so an event found there needs confirming against the organiser. No RSS found.
